Project Mustang

Project Mustang was significant steel erection project for Cliffs Natural Resources at United Taconite in Forbes, Minnesota. It included the installation of a new fluxstone pellet production system giving rise the the pellet known as the “Mustang Pellet”.  The project also included replacement of three older plant vacuum pumps with new pumps, addition of three new disc vacuum filters, and the replacement of a snap blow compressor.
