Minnesota Power – Boswell 3 Retrofit

LCI, as lead alliance contractor, is shown erecting heavy steel and setting equipment at a northern Minnesota power plant utilizing a Terex Peiner SK575 tower crane and a Manitowoc 999 crawler crane.

Other notable construction tasks on the project included: 1500 displacement pilings completed by a specialty contractor; 1,500 tons of rebar installed, 11,000 cubic yards of concrete poured; erection of more than 5,400 tons of structural steel; and the utilization of a 1,000- ton Liebherr LR1800 crane with a 400 ft boom.
